What is your greatest achievement in your career?
"I would say that besides getting professional qualified with the ICE & receiving a medal from the institution itself, it's been taking on an engineering manager role for a high-profile and unprecedented project. I believe this complex scope of work has really shaped my tenacity and feel for strong delivery and ultimately, leadership."
Who or what inspires you in your work?
“Service to society inspires my work. My faith inspires me to solve world problems, I believe engineers are quiet humanitarians and I wish to continue to design and build , and contribute to infrastructure in a way that makes our people feel safe.”
Please provide one piece of advice for future global ethnic-majority engineers.
“Discipline your vision. If you desire to be an engineer, be curious, continually network, aptly engage with mentors in the field, attend STEM events if you can, read up on how what you are doing now applies or prepares you for the role you wish to take on later. Don't let anyone limit your vision, only you can.”
