Top 24 for 2024
What is your greatest achievement in your career?
"The greatest achievement of my career has been in finding my own voice in engineering and in turn helping those of us who are under-represented in STEM to find their own voice. It was unconventional to have completed an Engineering Doctorate by the age of 24; and with no media training, appear on mainstream television to talk about STEM, write several STEM books and to provide free STEM education via digital platforms that have helped over 60 million people around the world to consider STEM careers themselves."
Who or what inspires you in your work?
“Talent, passion, intelligence and humility inspires me. I aspire to develop these qualities in myself, but when I recognise them in others, I am so inspired. There is nothing more aspirational than watching people be the best versions of themselves - it motivates me to be my best self too! ”
